Are Suryanamaskar & Pranayam enough if being healthy & fit is your only goal ?
It depends on your health status, that which Yoga or exercise is good for you?
For lean person, for fatty person, for mild, moderate, super strengthy person required exercise pattern changes.
According to the limitations like obesity or knee pain, back pain, heel pain, previous surgeries etc yoga or exercise plan changes.
I am working in this field, since 10 years to give personalized Yoga+Exercise plan.
I have seen that, if person is lean Suryanamaskar causes more leaning, so i don`t prefer more sets of Suryanamaskar in such individuals.
If digestive system is hampered exercise energy is not replenished by food and hence weight loss occurs, instead of the health gain.
So we can not say such generalized statement but if you are not having any major health issues & you are not requiring any personalized consultation then Suryanamaskar & Pranayam are always better but if you want some muscular strength, then only these wont be that fruitful as per my experience.
